About Stef Green
Her transformation from engineer to mommy!
Previously as a trained mechanical engineer, Stef Green, helped find mobility solutions for people with disabilities. For eleven years she worked as part of a team, designing and building specialized equipment to assist in day to day living and playing for people of all ages who had special needs.
Becoming a mom to two children born 18 months apart, she applied this background, coupled with her love of play, to design simple, fun solutions to everyday challenges with her own small children. Stef enjoyed sharing her ideas with the other moms in her community and was encouraged to share these more broadly through StefStation and her e-magazine (ezine) "Refresh!"
Support at the Station
Originally from England, Stef and her husband had no family members living close by as they started their new family in Canada. With all her family far away, Stef felt very lonely and anxious at home with a toddler and a new baby while her husband was at work. Looking for help, she found many websites offering advice and information to the new mom. Although much of the information was helpful, being a new mom was at times overwhelming, and what she felt she needed was re-assurance and encouragement to sustain her, and to keep her mentally refreshed in the often sleep-deprived state of new-parenthood.
It is out of these personal experiences that she has compiled StefStation to support moms. Combined with her "Refresh!" ezine she shares, encouraging and uplifting messages as well as innovative ideas for moms with young children. Together she will help you take the next step and last the next hour. With humour and understanding Stef will support and applaud you for doing the, often unnoticed, incredibly rewarding yet highly demanding job of parenting these new little individuals in the best way that you can.
So, if you haven't yet done so, sign up at the top of the page and don't miss out on her free and fun "Refresh!" ezine coming to your inbox.
